All users must read the rules before posting their profiles.
1~ Respect the Staff. I know everyone wishes they could make all the decisions around her, but I've selected a few who can make this easier on me. If they don't approve your profile, change it so that it can be approved. Don't give them grief, they do enough for you already.
2~ Keep it Clean. Let's remember that all ages are allowed on this board, so no foul language. Words will be added to the ban list. If you use any of those words, you will recieve a warning the 1st time and shall be on probation the 2nd time. A 3rd offense will result in banning from the board.
3~ All Profiles must be Approved. Let us move your profile once we determine if it's ok. If we ask you to change something about it, don't fret. It's most likely something little. If we don't like it all together, you are more then welcome to create a new profile that we might like.
4~ Literacy. I hate chat speak. If you want to use it in the C-box, that's find and dandy, but do not think you will get away with it in character. I don't even like to see it in out of character posts. Please, check your spelling if you can. Google tool bar has spell check, as does Internet Explorer 7. Use it please, and it's very friendly. I understand every once and a while, since we are human, but if it becomes a constant I will ban you from the board.
5~ Keep posts Clean. I don't mind kissing and romance, but let's keep your post PG-13. If you want to get sexual, take it to PMs. I'm not going to ban sexual activity, but if I see it on the boards for the public to see, you will be banned.
6~ God-modding is a No-No. You only have control of your character. Do not move characters as you see fit. If you have permission, then post it on the absenses board. I don't want to ban some one on accident. If you god-mod and don't correct it once notified, you will be on probation.
7~ Third Person. It's like a story. No first person. Use " " for talking and ' ' for thoughts. No bolding unless it is to show importance. I know this is how some of you RP, but it only confuses me.
8~ Labeling is your friend. If you want some one to respond to your post, make sure you put 'ATTN:____' some where so that they know who it is for. If you start a new thread, make sure the title has who is allowed to post in that thread. If it doesn't matter, just put 'Open'.
9~ Be Active. I understand that life sometimes gets in the way, but please, let us know. If you go more then a week without posting, you will be on probation. If it continues without notice, your character will become open. You are welcome to re-apply, but don't get mad if it's taken before you get back.
10~ Multiply Characters are Great! Just let me know who you want and make sure you create another account for them. Let's keep it to 2 characters for now.
Remember, I can add rules as I see fit. I will let you know if you need to re-read the rules as I add new rules. Oh, and place "Minnie's Yoo Hoo" somewhere in the Application.
Just so I know you read the rules.
